• A home for each storyline. Every storyline now has its own public page — the dossier — at /storylines/<slug>: the latest week's verdict, the full record of past analyses with every framework read, analogue and indicator, the open questions, the approved estimate and how its predictions scored. The email stays the short weekly digest; each section now links to its storyline's page for the detail.
• A shorter email. Storyline sections open with one overview paragraph, deep dives keep two framework reads and one analogue, and the week closes with the two or three indicators most worth watching.

August 2026

• A second pair of (machine) eyes on the prose. Before the human editor sees a draft, a second AI model from a different family now copy-edits it — stripping the verbal tics of machine writing while leaving every fact, number, and judgment untouched. Different models have different tics; one is bad at hearing its own.
• IR Lens now reviews itself. Once a month, the system reads its own record — which predictions held, what its editor had to rewrite, what its filters missed — and proposes improvements to its method. The editor decides what gets applied; nothing changes automatically.
• Deeper source material. Analyses now read the full article text when a source provides it, rather than only headline summaries.
• A track record the analyst can see. Each analysis now knows how the storyline's past predictions resolved, and new predictions must be concrete enough to be scored later.
• A public archive. Every issue that went out is now browsable at /archive, exactly as it was sent — one page per week, linkable. Drafts and test runs don't appear; the archive is the record of what was actually mailed.
• Editorial review before every send. The digest is now checked — and where useful, edited — by a human editor before it goes out. Nothing lands in your inbox straight off the assembly line anymore.
• Editor's note. When there is something worth saying about the week's issue — a caveat, a correction, a heads-up — it appears as a short note at the top of the email. No note means nothing needed saying.
• A proper unsubscribe button at the bottom of every digest, plus support for one-click unsubscribe in mail clients that offer it.
• Updated design. to make the weekly email better readable.
• This changelog. What changes about IR Lens gets written down here.
• And many more.. .. small changes. Design tweaks, first version of a map, prompt finetuning, etc.

July 2026

• IR Lens opens to subscribers, with double opt-in and per-storyline subscriptions: pick the storylines you care about at signup and your digest covers exactly those.
• Storyline temperature gauges on the landing page: a weekly tension reading per storyline, derived from how much significant activity the week brought.
• "In this issue" overview at the top of the digest, storylines ordered hottest-first, and a TL;DR box per storyline.
• Monthly dossiers: each storyline's accumulated analysis is re-synthesized into a reviewed dossier that anchors the following weeks' analysis — the method page explains the three layers of time.
